Please join us on Thursday, April 21st to give our Denver S.E. Suburb neighbors encouragement. Let’s coordinate a day of giving in the Centennial/Englewood/Lone Tree/Castle Rock areas.
Sign up to participate at: http://www.meetup.com/Flash-Mob-of-Kindness/ or call Vickie Hall at 303-944-1153 for any questions or keep reading for more information.
The planning committee for the “Flash Mob of Kindness” has chosen the Nutrition Services/WIC (Women, Infant and Children) of the Tri County Health Department to focus our attention on. Unemployment in our area has devastated families and consequently mothers and their young babies/children.
WIC provides them with necessary food items. Items that are not provided, but very needed, is where we can step up and help. Diapers (for all ages) & baby wipes are the most needed items. Some other items that might be nice to include in a bag are hand cream, lip gloss, desitin for baby’s bottom and maybe a treat for the mom. Since it’s close to Easter, maybe some plastic eggs that are filled with jelly beans, or mini cadbury eggs would be nice.
We have received permission from the main office of WIC to bring these items (and any other items that you think are appropriate) to the Castle Rock, Englewood or Lone Tree WIC offices anytime on Thursday, April 21st between 8 am – 5 pm.
If you would like to participate but not available to deliver your goods on that day, you can deliver them to the RE/MAX Masters office anytime before 10 am on Thursday – that address is 6400 S. Fiddlers Green Drive, Ste. 100 Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
